Charna
& Gene began their
real estate careers in sales – Charna in Fort Worth, Texas, and Gene in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their
dedication, creativity and leadership abilities quickly launched them into
managing and training for their respective companies. Following were years of
owning and managing substantial real estate offices for major companies.
With
their intense creativity constantly being limited by managerial routine, Charna
& Gene decided to
rededicate themselves to what they love
best - helping people buy or sell homes. They established RE/MAX Mid-Cities
brokerage, based on the concept of top agents providing the finest personal
service in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This
resulted in RE/MAX Mid-Cities being consistently ranked among the most highly
regarded, and most productive, brokerages – with year-after-year of
production awards!
At
every phase of their career, they developed the consistent, quality services
(with outstanding follow-up systems) that helped them forge strong relationships
with many of the nation’s Relocation Services.

1972 — Charna & Gene receive real estate licenses.

1976 — Gene opens DuFrane Realty Co, Inc., in Wisconsin

1975 — Charna manages Roberts & Associates – a very
successful Fort Worth old-line
brokerage.

1978 — Charna named President, Ft Worth Women’s Council
of Realtors

1980 — Charna joins major Dallas-Fort Worth firm, as
Vice-President

1981 — Gene moves to Texas & joins same firm, as

1987 — Charna named President, Fort Worth Board of Realtors

1988 — THE TEAM IS FORMED:
Gene & Charna establish
